Remediation and Soil Protection Strategy at Retail Stations and other Oil & Gas installations, North-West Italy

Project description:

The framework contract requires remediation and soil protection strategy at both active and inactive retail sites throughout five regions in NW Italy (Piemonte, Lombardia, Valle d’Aosta, Emilia Romagna). The contract covers also other installations such as depots and pipelines, plus one refinery. To date, over 200 S&GW remediation projects have been activated, utilizing a broad range of technologies from very basic excavation & disposal to more sophisticated approaches such as in-situ chemical oxidation. All sites remediated or with in-situ remediation in progress are regularly monitored according to specific protocols agreed with the competent local regulatory agencies.
