Prime contracting of the former gasworks‘ rehabilitation, Reims, France

Project description:

As part of a project of erecting a business building on the former gaswork site, our company intervened on behalf of the developer contractor as the prime contracting for the rehabilitation of the site. This project was designed with a basement within the business building (involving critical excavation), the rehabilitation strategy mainly was to optimize management costs of the excavated materials.

Quantitative study of sanitary risks for future user of the site and business plan
Assistance of “Contrats de Travaux” (ACT): realization of the pieces of the consultation, offers analysis and assistance for the business development (assistance au client pour la mise au point du marché)
Direction of “l’Exécution des Travaux” (DET): rehabilitation work and sorting methodology control
Assistance of “Opérations de Réception” (AOR): final control of residual state of the site before the next step

Advantages:

HPC Envirotec allowed the client to optimize the costs thanks to an optimum pollution management. The final financial assessment was below the initial estimations, with a €300,000 saving
5,000 tons of excavated materials
